WASHINGTON — This graphic, released by the NTSB Dec. 13, 2016, depicts the location of the El Faro Sept 30, 2015, when the captain of the ship departed the bridge for the evening, at about 8 (EDT), and the track line of the El Faro, relative to the locations of Hurricane Joaquin. The El Faro sank Oct. 1, 2015, and all 33 crewmembers perished in the accident.
