When setting safety valves, twosteam gages shall be used, one of whichmust be so located that it will be in fullview of the person engaged in setting suchvalves ; and if the pressure indicated by thegages varies more than 3 lb. they shall beremoved from the boiler, tested and cor-rected before the safety valves are shall in all cases be tested immedi-ately before the safety valves are set orany change made in the setting.
