Sardiello, oncoming commanding officer of the aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71) speaks during USS Theodore Roosevelt’s change of command ceremony on the flight deck. Capt. Carlos Sardiello relieved Capt. Craig Clapperton, as commanding officer of Theodore Roosevelt. Theodore Roosevelt is currently moored in its homeport of San Diego.
