These the Indians donot consider feathered baskets at all. In the feathered basket proper, there is little or no design inthe fiber, and the basket is closely covered with feathers. TheIndians divide fully-featheredbaskets into two classes, theta-pi-ca and the e-pi-ca. The ta-pi-ca (literallyRED basket) is what is known among basket collectors anddealers as the sitn basket.
