Venice Lido, military shrine, Italy. 230 flags, many months of needlework and a sign for acceptance, democracy, integration and solidarity, this is the Made auf Veddel World Scarf. We are more than proud of the women who knitted the world scarf together with refugees, homeless people, artists and other Hamburg residents. The World Scarf was presented to the public for the first time in 2015 in Hamburg and was then sent to many cities around the world. It is visible in Venice Lido until 28 October 2022. This global project has been conceived by the Hamburg-based fashion designer Sibilla Pavenst
