PACIFIC OCEAN (Feb. 27, 2019) - Community leaders tour the Independence-class littoral combat ship USS Manchester (LCS 14) during a Leaders to Sea program hosted by Commander, Naval Surface Forces, Pacific Fleet. The Leaders to Sea program embarks civic and business leaders aboard Navy ships to foster citizen awareness and understanding of the roles, missions, and need for the Navy in general and surface combatants in particular.
