A German/Italian circular buckler, 2nd half of the 16th century Circular iron shield with turned-under and corded edge. Brass attachment rivets for the central handgrip with remnants of the leathering. The rim studded with brass coated decorative rivets, and small cracks at two places. Diameter 49 cm.
