Almost unknown to the Peruvian not from Puno, Sillustani chullpas are the funerary monuments of the ancient pre-Inca culture Collao, located in a spectacular location on the lake Umayo near the Titicaca and Puno, as well as very close to the Collasuyo. In the neighboring village there was also a rural tourism project, in many farms have converted the old way, but pretty much the proximity to Titicaca and Puno, the lack of ability to make global communication on the part of the local community and the lack of interest of the tourist agencies have made void the project. The locals, seeing the tourist, shyly offers hospitality but no one stops.
