Santa Maria del Castell church, Cubells.
There is documented until the eleventh century. In the eighteenth century was extended to the west in the nineteenth century and attaches to a new temple on the north side. Recently restored to stop the Romanesque building as it was before enlargement. One nave with a barrel vault, profile and reinforced with two pointed arches, crown a semicircular apse with a double window. The presbytery arch that separates the nave from the apse starts on two carved reliefs as capitals. The top of the walls are adorned by carved corbels on the eaves. On the south wall, below a porthole opens the door into a large body protruding from the wall. Is defined by six groups archivolts on columns with alternating angles jambs, converted semi-cylindrical studs. The arches are richly decorated with geometric representations and animal motifs and some human figures. The canopy is made of diamond tips. The columns that support the archivolts lean on a large plinth and are topped by ornate capitals too much.
