Subgenital plate (fig. 46) large, sheath-like, its apex somewhat pointed and ending in a softly chitinous flap ; a small, softly chitinized process projects below its base. Wings.—General scheme of venation as given in the generic defini- tion (fig. 3). Of specific value may be noted the very characteristic ending of Sc and also the ending of Cu2 well beyond half-way along the posterior margin. $. Somewhat more robust and darker coloured than male ; fore- wing 7-8 mm. long. Abdomen ending in a pair of broadly triangular.
