Apollo 17 seismograph readings. Geophysicist viewing the seismometer readings produced by the Apollo 17 Saturn A-IVB rocket stage when it struck the surface of the moon. The seismic tracings were recorded by seismometers of Apollo Lunar Surface Experiments Packages (ALSEP) left on the Moon during earlier Apollo lunar landing missions. Photographed in the ALSEP room, Mission Control, Houston, Texas, USA, on 10th December 1972.
