Flowers pure white, in verj- large globulai heads- Wiegela. ROSE COLORED {Rosea)— elegant shrub, with fine rose-colored flowers. Introduced from China by Mr. Fortune and considered one of the finest plants he has discovered. viBUBNUM PLICATUM. Quite hardy ; blossoms in May. AMABALIS or SPLENDENS—Of much more ro- bust habit ; large foliage and flowers, and blooms freely in Autumn ; a great acquisition. DESBOISI—A beautiful variety, with deep rose- colored flowers, resembling Rosea, but flowers much darker. One of the darkest and best. FLORIBUXDA—Flowers of a rich crimson, and has the additional merit of usually making a second growth and flowering profusely during the latter part of summer. It is from Japan, and perfectly hardy and adapted to our climate. Be- ing of such a dark, rich color, it is a great acqui- sition as compared with the pale pink flowers of Rosea and other sorts.
