Chapman and Shumway are still inbad condition but are no worse than before theMaine game, in which they played star rest of the team are in good condition andwill be well rested when they meet Tufts. Tufts will have great difficulty in recoveringfrom the crushing defeat which Dartmouth gavethem Saturday. They were completely outclassedin every department of the game, their famous. Floyd, left endshift was almost helpless, their forward passesfailed, and their defence seemed bewildered anddemoralized. Before the game with Dartmouthit was thought that Tufts had a team capable ofscoring on any other team in the country; nowwhat they will do against a strong defence isproblematical.
