The bestowal of the Remington Honor Medal in Pharmacy forthe second time was made the occasion for a testimonial dinner inhonor of Prof. John Uri Lloyd, the recipient. The presentation wasat an adjourned meeting of the New York Branch of the A. Ph. at Hotel Pennsylvania, New York, on Monday evening, April19. Nearly one hundred representative pharmacists from New. JOHN URI LLOYD, York, Pennsylvania and New Jersey gathered at this function to dohonor to the guest of the occasion. Prof. William C. Anderson presided and acted as toast presentation was made in a masterly address by Dr. JacobDiner, who reviewed the impressions that the work of ProfessorLloyd had very early in his own pharmaceutical career made upon ^•^May^^S:! Notablyamong such was his early contributions and researches on colloidalchemistry which were now being fully recognized as among the originaland fundamental studies in this interesting branch of chemistry.
