DHAKA, BANGLADESH 21st June : worker is busy at a factory in old Dhaka to making Tupi or prayer hats during holy Ramadan in Dhaka on 21st June 2015. There is a great demand for locally made prayer caps both at home and abroad. About 60 percent of all tupis manufactured are exported to countries like Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, India, and other muslim countries. The rest is supplied to the domestic livelihood of nearly three thousand craftsmen who make prayer caps (tupi) hang in the balance as around a hundred tupi factories in the old part of the city Dhaka.
