The plate, of course, can be revolved to otherpositions than those given by the locking bolt, if desired; infact, it is capable of any adjustment in a vertical plane. CUTTING GASKETS FROM OLD AIR HOSE. Alternate layers of gaskets from old air brake hose and of-heet lead have been found to be a most satisfactory packingfor throttle stems.
