Train sheds are to be placed below street level between Canal streetand the river. Interesting features are the two cab-stands below Canal street (not seen in the drawing) and a newstreet along the river entirely on railway property between Jackson boulevard and Adams street. Plans are by D. H. Burnham & Co., architects. for the rapid handling of commuters, the scheme being to separatethe commuters from the through passengers and to separate ingoingfrom outgoing currents of traveh The train sheds are of the lowtype and will be insulated to avoid the effects of heat.
