The General Court, conceiving themselves bound by the firstopportunity to bear witness against the heinous and crying sin ofman stealing, as als to prescribe such timely redress for what ispast, and such a law for the future as may sufficiently deter allothers belonging to us to have to do in such vile and most odiousjurses, justly abhorred of all good and just men, do order, thatthe negro interpreter, with others unlawfully taken, be, by the firstopportunity, (at the charge of the country for present,) sent to hisnative country of Guinea, and a letter with him of the indignationof the Court thereabouts, and justice hereof, desiring our honoredGovernor would please to put this order in execution.
