They are checking that social distancing and Coronavirus restrictions can be adhered to. St. Kyneburgha with its famous NormanTower, is probably the finest Romanesque parish church tower in England. The COVID-19 Coronavirus crisis lockdown forced it to close its doors along with many other churches and places of worship at the state of lockdown. Worshippers can safely return for private prayer, but the ringing of bells won't be allowed until after 4th July. There are 8 bells in total, with the tenor bell weighing 10-0-9 cwt.
