Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe, Berlin.
The Memorial, designed by the New York architect Peter Eisenman, was ceremonially opened in 2005. It consists of 2711 concrete stelae of different heights and is located close to the Brandenburg Gate in the heart of Berlin.
