A Soldier preps ammo to be loaded into a 9mm magazine. Soldiers from the 484th Army Band, 350th Public Affairs Detachment, and 368th Public Affairs Detachment conducted weapons qualification on a Baffled Range at the Army Joliet Training Center, April 24. Baffle ranges have barriers to contain bullets and to reduce, re-direct or suppress sound waves and possible stray bullets. Baffles are placed either overhead, alongside or at ground level to restrict or interrupt errant or off target shots.
