Retired Brig. Gen. David Wood addresses several of his former colleagues after receiving the Distinguished Service Medal on June 13, 2021, at Fort Indiantown Gap. After 34 years in service, Wood retired in March and last served as the director of the joint staff, where his vast knowledge and guidance improved how the Pennsylvania National Guard conducts domestic operations, benefiting the commonwealth.
