06/010/13 Hanging high above the store's atrium, rope access technicians Rob Tucker (blue hat) works with Gavin Symonds decorating the John Lewis store in Oxford Street, London. Christmas has arrived at John Lewis as teams of 30 work overnight to transform shops across the country into Christmas Wonderlands. In total almost 13 km of decorations will be carefully abseiled into place, including a quarter of a million lights, 5,000 stars and 4,000 black and white cone trees, all held in place with almost 15 km of wiring.
