Radley, Oxfordshire, England; 24 March 2019 I have an ongoing home-office photographic project which creates complex, abstract images from simple shapes, decorations and cut-outs. This started off as an image of arranged colored shapes done in art card, together with some 'found' objects for good measure. But then I got more creative, producing this abstract image through a variety of layer, blending, gradient mapping, stacking, filter, threshold, flipping and rotational techniques in Photoshop. Think of it as repeatedly folding - both vertically and horizontally - blending and manipulating simple shapes in Photoshop-space to create ever more complex abstract visualizations - like this kaleidoscopic abstract design.
