The carved details of the ruins one a column at the Christian Basilica of Agios Stefanos in Kefalos, Kos, Greece

The early Christian Basilica of Agios Stefanos is a run of the 4th & 5th Century Basilicas. They were found by the Italian professor “Laurenzi” and were rebuilt between 469 and 554 AC and between the two big earthquakes that took place on the island. The second one, actually, was fatal for the Basilica.
