One of the remaining, original White Buses from the Swedish Red Cross operation by volunteers in spring 1945 lead and negotiated by the Swedish Count Folke Bernadotte (Vice-president of the Swedish Red Cross) rescuing concentration camp inmates in Nazi controlled areas and transporting them to Sweden. The action was also planned by Norway and Denmark, and in the beginning mainly Danish and Norwegian prisoners were rescued but later on other nationalities, as well.
