Brig. Gen. Ann Dunwoody sits with her mother, Betty, and her husband, Air Force Retired Col. Craig F. Brotchie during a 1st Corps Support Command change of command at Fort Bragg, Lt. Gen. Ann Dunwoody was confirmed by Congress July 23 for her fourth star, making her the first female four-star general in the Armed Forces. She will be assigned as the Army Materiel Command commanding general.
