VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (Sept. 15, 2018) Construction Mechanic 2nd Class Jason Schmits and Engineering Aid 1st Class Randy Stump, Sailors assigned to Underwater Construction Team 1, observe the results on a multi-beam sonar survey system on Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek-Fort Story. Members of UCT -1 and Mobile Diving and Salvage Unit 2 assisted in conducting thorough inspections of ports in Hampton Roads prior to the return of the nearly 30 ships the Navy sortied ahead of Hurricane Florence.
