Students have demonstrated at 17:00 in front of the Chamber of Deputies of Madrid, in the Movement Students movement and CREUP a mobilization against the Castells laws. From Contracorriente and Pan y Rosas against the Castells laws and for a radically democratic university at the service of students and the working class. Since the beginning of the course we have been claiming that what we need is to reactivate the student movement against the Castells university reform that we consider constitutes an abuse of the rights of students. The reform, made up of two laws, deepens the relationship between private companies and universities and gives free rein to the repression of freedom of expression and protest at the university. The student movement is the spearhead, facing the Castells Law and extending unity with the rest of the sectors that face the government. And workers facing adjustment plans, labor reforms and pension system reforms; the temporary workers of the public sector who fight against the Icetazo; Migrant people who suffer from immigration laws and precariousness, as well as with women and the LGTBI + collective, while the extreme right advances, face a "progressive" government that maintains educational concerts for the Churches and represses demonstrations against a homophobic murder. And, of course, the students will continue to fight for a radically democratic university, managed by workers, students and teachers, a university at the service of the social majority and not of the companies and the university caste.
