The flowers, which are borne in the greatest profusion the entire summer on strong, erect stems, are of the purest white, somewliat resembling a Poniponfe Chrysanthemum ; as a summer cut-bloom it is a arreat acquisition. £5 cts. each ; $ ])er dozen. A plant from Central , producing rose-colored flowers in racemes 2 feet long. The i)rofiision of its bloom is such as to give the re- semblance of roses at a distance ; henc^e its name, Rosa de iVontana, or Mountain Hose. This plant is moderately hardy, with ]irotection. The vines are killed to the ground by frost; but as it has tuberous roots, it starts in the spring and develops its flowers from June till frost. ANTHEKICUM (St. Bruno's Lily). .K beautiful plant, with narrow, grass-like foliage, and long spikes of white, fragrant, lily-like flowers. 20 CIS. each ; $ per dozen.
