It will behandy to place it on a hanging shelf, on the top of which canstand the clock; then the covers of the volumes will be heldin place, and the titles will be at a readable angle. A scrap-book for clippings from the domestic departments of mag-azines and papers, and a book on hygiene, may occupy aplace along with the ordinary cook-books.
