Atlirst it seemedlike courting aviolent death to follow that strait and narrowway along the verge ot destruction; but assured bythe Keeper, and steadying myself by his big, brawnylist held out behind him, I passed safely throughthe ordeal, and breathed more freely when wereached the projection, where we could view twosides of the cliff. Upon the continuation of the same ledge,around the corner, was a splendid array ot Gannetsupon their nests. The nearest were only about ten 62.
