Mallorca Port d'Andratx sunset November evening harbour with fishing and leisure boats
Port d'Andratx or Puerto d'Andraitx is the north western-most promontory of Mallorca island. It is recommend in guide books as the best sunset in Mallorca. However, there are only two periods of about a fortnight where the sun sets right in the mouth of the natural bay, behind the cape Mola lighthouse. November and March are the months when you are most likely to be able to sit beside the harbour and see the sun sink into the sea. Other times, it sets behind the promontaries on either side, though the western sky will still be impressive.
