The Norwegian Navy frigate HNoMS Helge Ingstad (F313) on a visit to Portsmouth, UK on 27/7/17. (Update - Involved in collision at sea on 8/11/18).

The Norwegian Navy warship HNoMS Helge Ingstad (F313) was in collision with the Maltese registered oil tanker MV Sola TS in the early hours of 8/11/18 in waters near Bergen, Norway. She sustained serious damage to her starboard side, her captain then made the decision to run the vessel aground on rocks to avoid imminent capsize and to prevent further injury or loss of life to crew members. Efforts are now underway to right the vessel from her heavy list to starboard, make her watertight and salvage her. (It appears that as of 14/11/18 all attempts to salvage the ship and save her for further service appear to be in vain as she has all but sunk).
