To start, place in a pail of water (and hold down bv a weight so it is covered with water) for 2 or 3 hours till thoroughly soaked ; after this it should be watered at least 3 times a week, oftener would be better. Once a week give it a thorough soaking. 'When fully leaved out it is a beautiful hanging basket about 14 to 16 inches in diameter. By withhold- ing the water they dry up and may be laid away for a season, and will start again when watered as before. When starting keep in temperature of about 60° or 65°.
