Friday 31 January 2014 Aberystwyth Wales UK Students TOM MANNION and TOM GAZZARD collecting their keys for temporary emergency accommodation on the university campus for the weekend The University authorities are planning to close their seafront halls of residence as a precautionary measure at this afternoon in advance of forecast high winds and stormy seas. Of the 600 students living on the seafront, about 450 are in university-owned accommodation. They are being offered alternative accommodation on the university campus, or financial help to return home for the weekend.
