Columns of the Temple

The Temple of Apollo in Didim, turkey is located at the end of the sacred road from Miletos. It took three days to walk the road from Miletos at festival time. The temple is amongst the best preserved of ancient temples from the Hellenistic through to Roman period of ancient history. A fascinating place with many original features surviving.
