Orange baboon tarantula (Pterinochilus murinus). Close-up of the head of an orange Usambara Mountain variant (UMV) of the baboon tarantula (Pterinochilus murinus), known as the red (or golden) starburst baboon tarantula. The baboon tarantula is found in Angola, and central, eastern and southern Africa. There are four known colour variants, with the UMV being found in the Usambara Mountains of northeastern Tanzania.
