Is this a common occurrence with chrys- anthemums and what is the cause? Other plants grown with pro- duced blooms of normal color. Tennessee. SUBSCRinER. The variety, Yellow Chadwick being a sport of the white variety, Wm. H. Chadwick, it is not unusual for some of the plants to revert to the original. Sports of varieties are very likely to do this, or the growth of the white and yellow Chadwicks, being alike, the plants may have become mixed at some time. C. W. Johnson.
