Humorous sign above Blackmans shoe shop in Cheshire Street in Spitalfields in London referring to the film 'The Devil Wears Prada'

The premises of this shop are a former synagogue on Cheshire Street (was Hare Street but renamed). Sometimes called the 'Cabinet Makers Synagogue' because it was used by workers in the local furniture trade in the area, it was officially called 'United Workmen's and Wlodowa Synagogue' and operated from 1901 to 1907 and is now a shoe shop famous for its cheap plimsoles and cheeky advertising sign outside.
