The Pavilion Cafe and exhibition centre in Eastbourne, East Sussex, UK
The Pavilion, on Eastbourne’s seafront, is a café popular as a venue for afternoon teas, light lunches and a hot or cold beverage. It is located next to the Redoubt Fortress. The Pavilion was extensively refurbished in the early 21st century and the former infrequently used sun lounge was converted for Eastbourne Borough Council to a top class Tea Room popular with local residents and tourists alike. Works included restoration to the main fabric of the original building, the forming of the raised terrace, a new kitchen and toilets and complete refitting and finishing of the internal areas.
