WWI. Friuli Venezia Giulia. place near the Cercivento cemetery where four Alpine troops of the 109th Company were shot for decimation. The Company refused to attack the Austrian trenches of Mount Cellon because it was considered a suicide operation. The trial was held in the church of the town, The accusation was of "rebellion in front of the enemy". Later it was ascertained that the four Alpini shot did not participate in the revolt. The four white crosses placed in the place of the shooting.
