The slender wiry black stems, crowned with indescribably beautiful spreading fronds, mingle with the Blood- root, the Baneberries and Jack-in-the-PuIpit of the rich hardwoods. Two feet tall. 30c each. EBONY SPLEENWORT, Asplenium Platyneu- rott. Ebony stems, slender and graceful, grows six to twelve inches tall among the moist shaded rocks or glades in the woodland. 40c each. MAIDENHAIR SPLEENWORT. Asplenium Trie ho manes. Daintiest of all with clumps of slender fronds four to six inches tall growing in clefts of the rocks. Must have some shade. 40c each. LADY FERN, Athyrium Felixfoemina.
