The lower of three (formerly five) horizontal water mills astride the burn running down from Loch Baravat to Loch na Cuilc. The stream running through the lower part of the mill drove a horizontal wooden paddle which, via a vertical spindle/shaft, turned the upper of two millstones in the room above.
