Bahnson^ and JohnR. Montgomery, Esq.^ This committee attended faith-fully to its duties, and Dr. Bowman was for some yearspresident of the college in all but FRANKLIN COLLEGE. (THE LANCASTER COUNTY ACADEMY.) The addition to the academy building on Lime streetwas erected in 1840 by Mr. John Sehner at a cost of$1,972. In 1841 a small house was built for the janitorat the northern end of the lot, at a cost of about $1,000.
