Photographersattending the Photographers Association of America Convention to beheld this month will see such a skylight, built specially at Chautauquato demonstrate its superiority over ordinary top and side lights. Thisalone is worth a trip to the Convention. ?<*n.~ Itenp oj mm. THE event of the month will be the Chautauqua Convention. Itssuccess is assured. Special trains will leave from every sectionof the country, and every effort will be made to make every one com-fortable and happy. There is no place in the country that offers somuch that is pleasurable and instructive as Chautauqua Lake. TheConvention building- is at the edge of the lake, and is the bestbuilding in which the association has ever convened. Instruction andpleasure will be mixed in proper proportion. Regular attendants at the Convention will be surprised to learn thatS. L. vStein, who has won so many prizes for his magnificent genrework, will not compete this year.
