One of the features of the exhibit on theground floor is a device for going flown hill,which can be attached to any wheel. It isa rotating thread which will release thepedals when one stops pedalling and allowsone to use them as a foot rest when goingdown hill. The moment one pedals thethread catches the pedals and grips them tothe shaft of the sprocket wheel as tightly asthe pedals are ordinarily attached.
