Harvesting of a wheat crop alongside the Middlewich branch of the Shropshire Union canal on August 1st 2013. It seemed odd that the wheat was not being combined for its grain but being harvested as a silage type crop, apparently it's called whole crop harvesting and is used for animal feed.
