The new Pink Floyd’s Algie flies again. The original flew 35 years ago for the cover to the 1976 album Animals.

On the 26th September 2011, a new version of Pink Floyd's pink inflatable pig Algie was flown above Battersea Power Station, South West London. EMI marked the release of the band’s remastered albums and previously unreleased music. Thirty-five years since the iconic pig rose above the Deco power station to create the striking image captured on Pink Floyd’s 1976 album Animals, it was a windy and several attempts were made. Due to demolition, the pig was flown from the other end of the building, the best view being from the North bank of the Thames.
