The continued high price of spelter hascaused further advance- in galvanized sheets, galvanized pipe, wire,staples, poultry netting, etc. Regarding galvanized sheets it isclaimed that even at advanced prices the makers are losing moneywhen present costs of production are considered. Prices on brass andcopper wire, brass shoe rivets, etc., have advanced considerably. Theoil market is weaker and prices have declined at Toronto. Parisgreen has advanced.
